The idea seems to be that a writer can upload his/her creative work in several genres, including novel-length fiction, and solicit comments from the public. I haven’t spent much time exploring the site and its functionality, but it seems a little too public to me at first glance. There are other more restricted online workshop sites, like Zoetrope.com that I have used, but you can’t really workshop a novel there. I’ll be interested in other reactions to the new site and to see what results it gets.
