>Some are describing it as a merger, but I’m not sure that’s really accurate, at least not yet. But there certainly is a change at StoryQuarterly, which will henceforth be published by Narrative Magazine, and Narrative’s editors have been added to the masthead of SQ. Since SQ had already become an online quarterly with a print annual, and Narrative was also online, it isn’t at all clear what–other than SQ’s online submission system–is going to be different. Time will tell. But I hope, at least, that StoryQuarterly’s submissions stay free–unlike Narrative’s.

  1. >Yes, there is February (I subbed there this February for that reason). I wonder if they picked it because it’s the shortest month? Why not March?!
