I was looking for an out-of-print book. I found one through Amazon.com’s Z-shops and ordered it. It didn’t show up. I got a refund. I found another copy through Z-shops and ordered that one. It has shipped and I expect it to arrive shortly but the main point is that the seller’s communication with me attracted my attention. Better World Books is an online bookseller that promotes literacy in the U.S. and throughout the world (a “socially responsible bookstore”). Take a look at their website. The next time I’m looking for a used book, I’m going to check there first.
