>Get Down by Asali Solomon

Farrar, Straus & Giroux recenlty released Get Down by Asali Solomon. I was quite pleased to note that in the acknowledgments she thanks the “Southern Inn Summer ’05 Writing Group” because I was a member of that group and saw several of the stories in this collection. We had a great time last summer, meeting frequently at the Southern Inn in downtown Lexington, reading and commenting on our respective stories, celebrating successes, having a few drinks. It was a blast, and I’ve been looking forward to seeing Asali’s book. Check it out, if you get a chance.
