With the death of its founder and editor, Raymond Smith, this announcement was widely expected, but it is still a shock because it is such an outstanding magazine. See Ontario Review Retires After 34 Years. There’s still nothing about this on the magazine’s website, but I’ve heard from other writers that they’ve received responses to their submissions that include this news.
