The Long List for the 2006 Orange Prize for Fiction has been announced. The short list will be announced on April 26. It looks like I’ve only read one of these novels (the Nicole Krauss), but I have a couple of the others and should read them soon. I was pleased/surprised to see Lorraine Adams on the list. She was the Fellow in my Charles Baxter workshop at Bread Loaf last summer. I’ve put off reading her book much too long.
