I’m heading to New York on Wednesday morning for the 2008 Conference of the Association of Writers and Writing Programs. Things will begin slowly in the afternoon and evening as people arrive, but kick into high gear with the first panels on Thursday morning. Last year in Atlanta I had a great time and sat in on some fantastic panel discussions, and also met lots of people in the bookfair. Almost 50% more people are registered this year, so I’m expecting it to be equally stimulating.
