>Sewanee Writers’ Conference

>Jim Tomlinson, author of Things Kept, Things Left Behind (out this Fall from Iowa University Press), announced yesterday on his Journal that he has received a Walter E. Dakin Fellowship to the Sewanee Writers’ Conference in July. Congratulations, Jim!

Since I found out last week that I’ve been awarded a Tennessee Williams Scholarship to Sewanee this Summer–not quite as exalted as Jim’s fellowship, but still exciting and humbling–I’m looking forward to going back to The University of the South and seeing Jim there.

It’s shaping up to be a busy Summer!

And thanks for kind words, Myfanwy.
