When I lived in Washington DC, I took two writing workshops at the Writer’s Center in Bethesda. It was my first experience with workshopping, and also was my first opportunity to get any feedback on my writing. Quite a revelation. Anyway, since then the Writer’s Center has continued to flourish. While I’m now too far away to take advantage of its programs, its website offers a number of useful links and services, and I’ve added it to the “Resources” box at right.
