>Writer Almighty–Day 5

>Although the store was quiet today, the street was buzzing with traffic and lots of passersby. Suzi says things start to pick up on Friday as tourists arrive for the weekend, but another reason today is that the movie “Evan Almighty” (sequel to “Bruce Almighty”) is filming some scenes around our courthouse (or somewhere). I didn’t get a whole lot done–some work on the novel and also on another new story (part of my planned “Nanking Mansion” collection). Tomorrow is the last day of this little experiment, and I’m told that Saturdays are pretty busy. So we’ll see what happens.
