>Not much to report . . .

>Happy New Year!

Mexico City is quit today, with hardly anything open. I was surprised to stumble upon this Internet cafe in my wanderings.

The main events yesterday were a return visit to the Museum of Anthropology, which is amazing, and hike (and subway ride) to visit the Studio of Diego Rivera in San Angel. I have been to the Frida Kahlo house a couple of times but 2 years ago when I was here the studio was being renovated. It isn’t big and so didn’t take long to tour, but it’s really fabulous. Worth the trip for sure. Today I wandered around the Zocalo, had breakfast at El Popular–a very popular cafe–and generally wore out my shoes.

I’m off to Taxco tomorrow, so I probably won{t check in again until Wednesday.
