The first Split This Rock Poetry Festival was held in DC in March 2008. That was awhile ago, but reports from participants are still coming out. There are lots of great links on the home page and on the blog.

Plus, there’s Cento, a beautiful pro-Peace collective poem.

I’m truly sorry I missed the event but I’m encouraged by the use of “first” in front the name of the festival. Next time . . .
